Importing briefcase files should only need to be performed under special circumstances, such as receiving data from another unit or importing converted data.

Before running the import, you should have your .daBriefcase file available on your computer.

Please note

  • You will receive some "XXX does not belong to this briefcase" errors and some "XXXXX is not a data-service" errors during the import process -- this is completely normal

Running the Import

  • Login to AquilaCRS as a system administrator.
  • Display the Backup & Restore tab by opening the View menu and selecting Show extra pages.
  • Go to the Backup & Restore tab.
  • On the left, click the Select File... button and locate your .daBriefcase file that you want to import.
  • The Data File Properties window will show information about the file you just selected. Please use this information to confirm that this is the correct file.
  • If you're happy that the file is correct, click Import Data File.
  • The import may take a while but will inform you when completed by .........
  • Please report any unexpected errors immediately.

Note:
