Considerations
- An export can be run at any time prior to importing to AquilaCRS, even if Telemarque is actively being used.
- Data can be exported year by year in order to export the data piecemeal & thus minimise server impact.
- When all the TM data has been exported, it can be kept up to date with any new edits in Telemarque by using an "Audit Update Export".
- We recommend running the export during quiet periods in order to prevent slowing down systems like Telemarque & IBID.
Running a Yearly Export
- Open the Migration Assistant
- Click the Next button to get to the settings page
- Under the Application Settings header, change the Assistant Mode to Migration
- Under the Export Settings header, make sure the Export Directory is set to your desired location.
- See the screen shot below for an example
- Once the Export Directory has been set and data exported, do not alter this value
- Click Test Conn to ensure the Telemarque database is available
- Click Next to proceed to the Export page.
- Select the Year export type
- Select the year from the next drop down box.
- It's recommended to migrate the oldest years first (as recent years will still be being worked on in TM)
- Press the EXPORT DATA button
- The log will output the current settings and any important messages.
- The progress bar underneath the log indicates progress, as well as the fields above the log showing the count information.
