Quick Start - Running the Import Report
- Open the TM-Aquila Merge application.
- Click the Aquila Connection button to open the AquilaCRS Database/Server Settings page.
- Carefully check that the settings refer to your test database before proceeding, see TM Merge - Algorithm Settings for more details.
- Click the 'TM Export File button to show the TM Export Files Settings page.
- Again, carefully check that the settings are accurate for your configuration & the folders exist as stated. See TM Merge - TM Export Files Settings for more details.
- Press the Create Import Report button to start the comparison
- Analyse the spreadsheet and make any necessary edits to the Telemarque Export or Aquila database & re-try the Create Import Report. See TM Merge - The Merge Report for more details
- If you need to, you can carefully adjust the algorithm settings, see TM Merge - Aquila Database/Server Settings for more details.
You only need to verify the settings once per installation/upgrade. On second and subsequent runs, you can skip straight to the Create Import Report option.
At this point, the Telemarque-Aquila Merge software will not import data, or indeed make any alterations to the Aquila database.
